Here is cutting edge technology software for improving your memory by the folks at PositScience. Put on the headphones and play some games and your visual memory gets batter.
You probably did not know (until you read it here) that your visual memory depends as much on your brain as on your eyes? The eyes take in visual information, but it’s the brain’s job to process and use that information.
InSight sharpens the brain’s visual system, much as glasses can do for the eyes.
The result: you can see more of what’s around you, react to it more quickly, and remember it better. And those skills are essential to everyday activities, like driving safely and confidently, watching kids running around a playground, finding your car in the parking lot, and avoiding accidents.
The program has been used in more than a dozen studies and really works. You can visit Posit Science through the link at the top of this page. and save 10 off with a special coupon code at the top of the post.

Lumosity on the Web for the Best Brain Training Games
Filed under: brain enhancement web services, online brain games, reviews
Link to Visit: Lumosity Scientific Brain Training
My favorite spot on the web for brain training games is Lumosity. I’ve spent a lot of time on over a hundred sites and I still keep coming back to Lumosity.
What I enjoy the most about the site is aesthetics of the site:
The the interface is much clean, the game designs are unified and integrate and the training sessions are user friendly.
Lumosity’s training sessions are scored on a combination of factors, including speed, hesitation, and error recovery, rather than accuracy alone. This is unlike some other sites I have looked at that tend to favor accuracy or speed.
Improve Your Memory with Scientific Brain Exercises
To give you some idea of the science behind the lumosity games, here is a bit from the Lumosity webiste:
“In a randomized and controlled study, the Lumosity program was shown to significantly improve memory and attention. This research was presented at the Society for Neuroscience Conference in 2006 and at the Bay Area Neuroscience Gathering 2007.”
It’s not the first “brain-training” site we’ve encountered, but it may be the most scientific. Sign up for a free trial and play games that have been lab-tested and shown to improve memory, attention, processing speed, and cognitive control. The games, such as Bird Watching and Monster Brain GamesGarden, are surprisingly fun, and it’s also amusing to track your progress.
So don’t you owe it to your brain to take a Free Trial.
